Allison Aubuchon, APR

President

Allison is a fourth-generation Floridian with more than 17 years in the public relations profession. Prior to founding Allison Aubuchon Communications in 2016, she served as the Florida state communications & external affairs director for the Foundation for Excellence in Education and the Foundation for Florida’s Future, where she managed communications and grassroots initiatives in support of student-centered education reform statewide. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as press secretary for the Florida Senate Majority Office, promoting the legislative priorities and accomplishments of the majority party and providing communication services to lawmakers and their staff. Her experience also includes serving as public relations manager for Capital City Bank and as PR account manager / corporate communications manager for Kidd Group.

Recognized as one of the 40 Gators Under 40 in 2021, Allison graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and from Florida State University with a master’s degree in media and communication studies, later earning accreditation in public relations (APR Certification) from the Florida Public Relations Association. She is a Florida Blue Key alumni member and a lifetime member of Delta Delta Delta.

Living in Tallahassee with her husband, Josh, and their two sons, Allison enjoys gardening and giving time to organizations and causes near to her heart. She currently serves on the Tallahassee Board of Trustees for the Florida House on Capitol Hill (Florida’s “embassy” in Washington, D.C.), and on the marketing committee for the LeMoyne Chain of Parks Art Festival.

Allison is entering the technology space as co-founder of WellConnector, a local initiative creating a precheck for patient health. Personal health experiences motivated Allison to work with partners to develop this platform that will make office visits more efficient and ensure accurate medical information is readily available to better inform healthcare decisions.
